The UZH.ai Hub is hosting a two-day hackathon where you team up with students from other disciplines to tackle real business challenges around the human side of generative AI adoption in organisations. The challenges are submitted by companies such as Swiss Re, KPMG, Syngenta, Hyatt, Airies and DSV Switzerland, and the jury panel includes representatives of OpenAI, AWS and Deloitte.
No coding skills required, and all disciplines are welcome — from psychology, business and law to computer science and design. Food, snacks and drinks are provided free throughout the event. Prizes, networking and potential pathways to internships await the strongest teams and individuals.
Schedule:
- Day 1, 22 Oct: 09:00 welcome and keynotes, 11:20 hackathon starts, ends 18:00
- Day 2, 23 Oct: 09:00 continuation, 13:30 pitches, 15:45 the final, ends 17:00
Places are limited. Teams that register early and arrive already formed receive priority, and a brief motivation is asked for as part of preselection. The registration deadline is Sunday, 11 October 2026 at 23:59.
