    Is First-year Day for you?

    First-year Day is primarily for bachelor students in their first semester. Minor students are also welcome. It takes place immediately before the semester begins and is organised by the faculty together with the Economics and Informatics student associations.

    Directly afterwards, from 14 to 18 September, the Welcome Week takes place — a separate event with its own registration.

    Location: University of Zurich main building, Rämistrasse 71, 8006 Zurich. Please bring your laptop and AAI login. Participation is required for the mentoring programme.

    Registration is managed by FVOEC. The deadline is Tuesday, 8 September 2026, 23:59.

    If you miss the deadline, you can register at the FVOEC stand from 09:00 on the day itself. You will not have a fixed mentoring group because assignments are completed the day before.

    You will receive a confirmation email immediately after submitting the form. Your group assignment and detailed schedule follow by email on Thursday, 10 September 2026. Please check your spam folder if they do not arrive.
