Starts in the autumn semester
The assessment stage begins in autumn and normally runs until the end of the following spring semester. Failed compulsory modules can only be repeated when they are next offered.
Advanced stage from 45 ECTS
After earning 45 Assessment ECTS, students may conditionally progress to the advanced stage. The current programme regulations contain the binding rules.
Compulsory modules by degree
Business and Economics and Informatics follow different curricula. Choose your degree; each semester comprises 30 ECTS.

Start in autumn
The first 30 ECTS are offered in the autumn semester.

Complete in spring
A further 30 ECTS complete the standard Assessment year.

Keep the deadline in view
All 60 ECTS must be earned within four consecutive semesters.
Prepare well for the Assessment
These are general lessons from FVOEC student experience. The learning objectives, material, and exam format for the current semester take precedence.
During the semester
- — Complete exercises independently and promptly.
- — Clarify gaps early in tutorials or office hours.
- — Use the official OLAT material as your foundation.
Before the exams
- — Create a realistic study plan early.
- — Be able to explain solutions instead of merely recognising them.
- — Check current exam information and permitted aids.
